The sixth-season premiere of Home Box Office’s The Sopranos is just days away and the mob series continues to receive promotional support via an advertising campaign Cingular Wireless is running behind its “HBO Mobile” video service.
TV spots touting HBO Mobile featuring The Sopranos content are currently running in 16 markets, including Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.
Four clips from the fifth season of The Sopranos are currently available to Cingular subscribers to the video service, according to an HBO spokesman, who added that another set of four clips from cable’s highest-rated show will be rotated in March 13.
