Charter Connects To Showtime Anytime

Charter Communications is the latest pay-TV provider to extend access to Showtime Anytime, the premium programmer’s authenticated TV Everywhere service that offers live feeds of the Showtime East and West coast feeds and a stock of on-demand fare, including originals such as Homeland, Ray Donovan, and Masters Of Sex.

The launch comes about a month after Charter and renewed its carriage agreement with CBS, a deal that included TVE rights for Showtime.

Other MVPDs with Showtime TVE rights that have also extended access to Showtime Anytime include Comcast, AT&T U-verse, Bright House Networks,  DirecTV, Grande Communications, Cablevision Systems, and Verizon FiOS TV.

Showtime offers its individual TV Everywhere app on PC/laptop browsers, iOS and Android phones and tablets, the Kindle Fire, and Roku streaming players.

Showtime said Charter will offer Showtime Anytime on the MSO’s own Charter TV Application and via the Charter.net customer portal “in the near future. “
