Cartoon Has Jones for Khaki

Cartoon Network has promoted Khaki Jones to vice president, original series.

Jones had been senior director of original animation.

In her new role, she will oversee the creative direction of more than 12 of Cartoon’s newest original animated series. Jones also will serve as the network liaison and provide creative guidance to the creators of existing original programs, as well as representing each show to the network’s internal-marketing, online, public-relations and creative-services departments.

Jones has been with Cartoon parent Turner Broadcasting System Inc. for 17 years.
