Cablevision Systems named Kevin Watson senior vice president and treasurer, effective immediately.
Watson will oversee Cablevision’s treasury functions, including capital-structure planning and liquidity and liability management, and he will be responsible for managing the company’s relationships with commercial and investment banks and debt-rating agencies.
Watson will report to chief financial officer Michael Huseby, and he is succeeding treasurer John Bier, who will serve as senior advisor to the company’s CFO until his retirement at the end of the year.
Prior to joining Cablevision, Watson served as VP and corporate treasurer of PanAmSat, and he had served stints at Entex IT Services, MCI Telecommunications and Prudential Securities.
