Here's our list of upcoming original cable programming — specifically covering the period from March 1, 2005 to July 17, 2005. “Original programming” means just that — everything has to be a brand-new premiere. That means nothing acquired or available via broadcast television, home video or in movie theaters. Specials spun off of existing series are included, but never-before-seen episodes of established series do not qualify. The list includes mostly traditional basic-cable networks that have large distribution, though some pay networks have been included.
