Britt Gets UJA Honor
Time Warner Cable chairman and CEO Glenn Britt will receive the Steven J. Ross Humanitarian Award at a UJA-Federation of New York dinner in New York Thursday.
Britt will receive the award from National Cable & Telecommunications Association president Kyle McSlarrow at the dinner, at which Sarah Jones and Judy Collins will perform. Britt was singled out for generosity, philanthropic and professional leadership, and dedication to UJA-Federation and caring for those in need.
The award is given to a leader in the entertainment industry whose spirit of generosity and kindness is both boundless and selfless. Past recipients include Jeff Zucker, Michael Eisner, Rupert Murdoch, Sumner Redstone and Richard Parsons.
