Bravo has green-lighted a pilot featuring one of its Shear Genius contestants on a trek to improve beauty salons around the country.
Starring Australian native Tabath Coffey, who was clipped in the sixth installment of the rookie campaign of the network's hairstyling competition series Shear Genius, Tabatha’s Salon Takeover, produced by Reveille (The Tudors, Nashville Star), will provide makeover advice for beauty parlors that are on the brink of being shuttered. Viewers will meet the owner of the salon, its stylists and Coffey as she formulates plans to take over salons, remake them and bring them into the 21st century.
Salon owners can apply to have their shops made over by visiting www.BravoTV.com/casting or by emailing their name, contact information and recent pictures of themselves and their salons to email@example.com.
Bravo recently renewed Shear Genius for a second season.
