Bravo Lands Cable Rights to ‘Swingtown’
Bravo Monday announced it has locked up exclusive cable rights to the critically acclaimed drama series Swingtown from CBS Television Distribution.
Swingtown, which wrapped up its 13-episode, premiere-season run on CBS this summer, joins other Bravo programming acquisitions including Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The West Wing.
During its run on CBS, the retro series focusing on two generations of friends and neighbors as they forge intimate connections and relationships averaged 2.069 million adults18-49 and 4.934 million total viewers. The series premiere delivered 3.618 million adults 18-49 and was the best broadcast summer premiere for a scripted series on network television since 2006.
Swingtown is produced by CBS Paramount Network Television. Mike Kelley, Alan Poul and Carol Barbee are executive producers.
