Jim Cramer is celebrating the third anniversary of his series on CNBC today.


Many of the manic money maven’s best fans will be in the studio audience for Mad Money w/Jim Cramer, when it premieres today at 6 p.m. (ET).

The show, which also is expected to include star-studded salutes and revisit some of the show’s top and most profitable moments, will encore at 11 p.m. on CNBC.

Cramer will also be taking his show to Happy Valley, as part of his “Mad Money Back to School” tour. The show will broadcast live before students from Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business on March 26. Cramer and CNBC are currently looking for other schools, according to a network spokeswoman.

Previously, Mad Money traveled to Georgia Tech's School of Management, the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, Harvard Law School, The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and Columbia Business School Boston College, Georgetown University, The Darden School of Business at The University of Virginia, the Red McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.

“I am thrilled to kick off the 2008 Mad Money Back to School tour in my home state of Pennsylvania,” said Cramer in a statement. “If Penn State's business school students are anything like its football fans it will be one of Mad Money’s best crowds ever.”
