Emmys 2018: Bill Hader Takes Emmy for Lead Actor in a Comedy

Bill Hader took home the Emmy for lead actor in a comedy series, the second Emmy awarded to HBO's freshman series during the telecast.

Hader topped last year’s winner Donald Glover as well Anthony Anderson (black-ish), Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Ted Danson ( The Good Place) and William H. Macy (Shameless) in the category.

Hader followed Henry Winkler's Emmy win earlier in the evening for best supporting actor in a comedy series.
