Melissa Bear was named vice president of business and legal affairs at TV Land.
Bear had held the same post with fellow MTV Networks service VH1.
At the vintage-TV network, she will oversee contract negotiations for all original programming, acquired programming and new business ventures, as well as serving on president Larry W. Jones’ management team.
