Ovation's Battle of the Nutcrackers will return on Dec. 15 with US premieres of The Nutcracker by Youri Vámos, as well as a new production by the Royal Opera House, the network announced today.
Viewers will be able to vote for their favorite rendition of The Nutcracker ballet during the annual holiday event.
The Bolshoi Ballet is set to return on Dec. 17, and the Mariinsky Theatre on Dec. 18. The network's Morning Canvas block will reveal the winning Nutcracker on Dec. 22 at 8 p.m.
