AXS TV Releases 'Jazz Fest' Lineup For Live Shows

AXS TV has released the lineup of artists it will bring to its high-definition air the three-day continuous live coverage of the upcoming New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Jazz Fest is held from April 26-28 and May 2-5, and AXS TV will broadcast concerts from more than two dozen artists, starting Friday, May 3, through Sunday, May 5.

Jazz Fest artists scheduled to appear on the national broadcast include: Billy Joel; Phoenix; John Mayer; Widespread Panic; Daryl Hall and John Oates; Gary Clark Jr.; Willie Nelson & Family; Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue; Gipsy Kings; Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite; Better Than Ezra; Laura Bell Bundy; Galactic; Marcia Ball; Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk; Anders Osborne; Bonerama; Marc Broussard and Cowboy Mouth.

AXS TV’s coverage of Jazz Fest will begin at 3 p.m. ET/noon PT each day and conclude at midnight ET/9 p.m. PT, a total of more than 25 hours of live music over the three-day broadcast. There also will be behind-scenes access at the festival and artist interviews with hosts Allison Hagendorf and Bob Santelli and correspondent Savannah Jane Buffett. Schedules and artists are subject to change and the network will release a complete program guide by day and artist in the coming days with updates throughout the festival.
