AXS TV To Air Five 2015 Music Festivals

AXS TV will look to pump up the volume for its live music concert telecasts in 2015 with the addition of five top music festivals, the network said Tuesday.

The live telecasts include the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 17-19 live from Indio County, Calif.; the Stagecoach Country Music Festival on April 24-26 from Southern California; and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 1-3, said network officials.

Also on the docket is the May 15-17 Rock on the Range Music Festival and the June 19-21 Firefly Music Festival. Overall AXS TV will add more than 70 hours of live festival entertainment in 2015.

Mercury Insurance will sponsor the five festival telecasts as well as a four-episode special series Road To The Festivals Presented By Mercury Insurance to air in March, said AXS.

“AXS TV is committed to delivering the best in live music, and we’re proud to continue that legacy with this groundbreaking lineup,” said Mark Cuban, AXS TV founder. “Nothing compares to a live music event, and now our audience will get a front-row seat to five incredible festivals, as we bring the ultimate concert experience to our viewers.”
