AT&T U-verse, Cablevision, Cox Present Pre-Olympics Clips On Demand

The action from Sochi starts tomorrow, but Cablevision, Cox and AT&T U-verse are in the Olympic spirit today, proffering more than 100 pre-Games clips as part of the expansive offerings from NBC Sports.

The clips, including highlights from U.S. Olympic team trials, are available in high-definition via the distributors’ set-top boxes, as well as Cox’s and U-verse’s websites.

The distributors, along with many other MPVDs, will also be engaged with NBCUniversal’s multiplatform coverage of the Games. Video subscribers will have access to NBCUniversal's unprecedented 1,500-plus hours of Winter Olympic programming, including every Olympic competition, live and on-demand and across multiple platforms.  In addition to linear coverage on NBC, NBCSN, MSNBC, CNBC, and USA, authenticated subscribers can check out 000 hours of live-streaming from all 15 sports and 98 competitions via NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports Live Extra app.

For their part, U-verse customers will have access to the on-screen, interactive U-verse Olympic TV App, where they will be able to keep tabs on NBCU’s real-time medal counts, athlete bios, Team USA reports, Olympic news and more.  The app is available on channels 1094 (HD) and 94.
