Members of Promax/BDA announced the formation of the Association of Electronic Interactive Marketers.
The group will be chaired by Peter Moore, corporate vice president of worldwide publishing for the home and entertainment division of Microsoft.
The nonprofit group will spearhead idea-sharing within the interactive field and draw in marketers from other entertainment fields. The association also plans to offer education and training opportunities for marketers.
The group will not be involved in industry policy-making or regulatory lobbying, executives said.
