Armstrong Launches Fight Network
By MCN Staff
Fight Network said it has launched on Armstrong Cable, on channel 239 in high definition and on channel 491 in standard definition as part of the Armstrong Extra Pack. The cable provider has about 100,000 customers in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio.
“Armstrong is pleased to add Fight Network, the premier combat sports channel, to its programming lineup,” David Wittman, VP of Cable Marketing at Armstrong, said in a release. “It will definitely be a hit with our subscribers.”
This launch adds to earlier ones on Cablevision's Optimum TV, Grande Communications and Shentel Cable for the combat-sports programmer, which is owned by Anthem Media Group. The content includes live fights and news about mixed martial arts, wrestling and other fight categories, plus drama series, documentaries and feature films.
