American Chopper to Ride on TLC

American Chopper is about to rev up on TLC.

The series -- showcasing Orange County Choppers, the custom motorcycle family business run by Paul Teutul Sr. and his sons, Paul Teutul Jr. and Mikey -- is driving to TLC from sister network Discovery Channel.

The migration begins Christmas night with a three-hour marathon of episodes from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. and continues Jan. 14 with a show bringing TLC viewers up to speed on the history of the Teutuls and Orange County Choppers.

The network -- setting up shop with new block Turbo on TLC -- will roll out the first episode of Chopper’s fourth season Jan. 18 at 9 p.m., followed by a special installment chronicling Mikey’s adventures around the OCC shop and the Northeast Coast at 10 p.m.

Turbo on TLC’s complete lineup comprises Overhaulin, beginning Jan. 18 at 7 p.m.; American Hot Rod, starting Jan. 25 at 8 p.m.; and Biker Build-off, debuting Feb. 8 at 10 p.m.

The block will serve as the on-air home for Turbo, the multiplatform, multimedia destination for Discovery Networks’ best “motorized” content, from choppers to supersonic jets and everything in between.
