Amazon Sets May Premiere for ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’

Amazon will premiere its new mystery drama series Picnic at Hanging Rock on May 25, according to the streaming service.

Amazon will stream all six episodes of the limited series, which is based on Joan Lindsay’s iconic Australian novel of the same name surrounding the mysterious disappearances of three schoolgirls and one teacher on Valentine’s Day in 1900. 

Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) stars in the series along with Samara Weaving (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Madeleine Madden (Tomorrow When The War Began) and Lily Sullivan (Camp).
