Ahn Gets Seniority at NBC Universal Cable

NBC Universal Cable has promoted Henry Ahn to senior vice president from VP.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the field-sales team in securing the distribution of NBC Universal's cable networks -- Bravo, Bravo HD+, CNBC, MSNBC, CNBC World, ShopNBC, USA Network, Sci Fi Channel, Trio, Telemundo and mun2 -- as well as the Olympic Games on cable.

Ahn will continue to report to NBC Universal Cable president David Zaslav.

The company also announced several other promotions:

• Lee Crain has been promoted to VP of national accounts, primarily responsible for Charter Communications Inc. and Adelphia Communications Corp. and assisting with Comcast Corp. Crain had been manager of affiliate sales.

• Bradley Fleisher was upped to VP, Northeast region.

• Elizabeth Asencio has been promoted to VP, Southeast region.

• Bruce Levinson is now VP, Southwest region. Levinson joined NBC from Bravo Networks, where he led affiliate sales for the Southern region.

Fleisher, Asencio and Levinson all report to Ahn.
