Africa Channel To Sponsor Pan African Film Festival Events

The Africa Channel will sponsor several events during the week-long Pan African Film Festival (PAFF) in Los Angeles beginning Feb. 10.
The network along with Time Warner Cable will co-sponsor on Feb. 10 a short film, Nelson Mandela's Life Story, as part of the festival's StudenFest program, according to the network.

Additionally, Time Warner Cable and The Africa Channel will distribute Mandela's Grammy nominated audio book Nelson Mandela's Favorite African Folktales to attendees.
The network will also produce a two-hour special based on the festival's star-studded event The Night Of Tribute, which honors significant film and community leaders, said Africa Channel officials. The special will air Feb. 28 on the channel.
