Erik Sorenson has been promoted to president and general manager for MSNBC.
Sorenson has been the news network's vice president and general manager since 1998. He'll oversee programming and operations and report to NBC President and COO Andrew Lack and NBC News President Neal Shapiro. - Allison Romano
