Josh Earnest Joins NBC News

Former White House press secretary Josh Earnest has joined NBC News and MSNBC as a political analyst, starting Monday morning on Today and Morning Joe. 

He was press secretary from 2014 to 2017, having been deputy communications director for the Barack Obama campaign.

Earnest has been a big critic of the new President.
