Tennis, Dish Ace TVE Deal

Tennis Channel has added Dish Network to its TV Everywhere roster.

Subscribers to the No. 2 DBS provider can now access a linear stream of Tennis Channel’s lineup via DishAnywhere.com on computers and the Tennis Channel Everywhere app for Android and iOS devices.

Dish joins DirecTV, Verizon FiOS and members of the National Cable Television Cooperative in offering Tennis Channel TVE fare to their subscribers at no extra charge.

Verified Dish video customers will be able to check out the dedicated racquet sport’s schedule, which is currently in the midst of the spring clay court season, culminating with Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam of the season.

“Through distribution partners like DISH we can continue to serve tennis fans with the Tennis Channel Everywhere app,” said Patrick Wilson, the network's senior vice president of distribution. “Tennis Channel has 85% of all the live tennis on television in the U.S., so it’s great that technology has finally caught up to fans and the viewership demands of the sport. App users access as much tennis as they want, whenever and wherever they want.”
