fuboTV, the sports-oriented virtual MVPD service, has cut a marketing partnership with Shop Your Way, a unit of Sears Holdings.
Under the program, Shop Your Way members who take the Fubo Premier package will receive Cashback in points totaling the first month of paid subscription fees, plus additional Cashback in points every month during the first year of paid service. Fubo Premier is currently offered for an intro rate of $19.99 for the first month, and $44.99 per month after.
More specifically, Shop Your Way members will receive $20 Cashback in points of the first full paid month of service (after a seven-day trial), and $3 in points per month for the next 11 months of paid service.
Shop Your Way members can redeem those points on merchandise available at Sears, Kmart, Lands’ End and at ShopYourWay.com.
Uber and Meredith Corp. are examples of other Shop Your Way partners.
fuboTV has raised about $75.6 million in funding so far, and announced last fall that it had crossed the 100,000 subscriber mark.
New estimates from The Diffusion Group put fuboTV’s sub base at about 150,000.
