Video Internet Broadcasting Corp. (VIB TV) will provide "triple-play" services over iProvo, the new, municipally owned fiber optic network in Provo, Utah, the company said Thursday.
Provo Mayor Lewis K. Billings signed a contract Thursday under which VIB TV will provide voice, video and data service over the network.
“The iProvo network is truly a pioneering example for other municipally owned fiber optic networks around the country, and it is wonderful to have Mayor Billings sign VIB as iProvo's first service provider,” VIB TV CEO Kelly Ryan said in a prepared statement.
