Univision Now App Lands on Roku
Univision Now, Univision’s subscription-based live and VOD app, has extended support to Roku players and integrated Roku TVs.
Univision Now, which sells for $5.99 per month or $49.99 per year following a seven-day free trial, features live broadcasts from Univision and UniMás, a VOD library with more than 2,000 hours of content, and a 72-hour DVR feature. Univision Now is also available to pay TV subs who get service from MVPDs that have secured TV Everywhere rights from Univision.
Univision Now is also supported on web browsers, iOS and Android mobile devices, and Apple TV boxes.
“Our audiences expect a great digital experience from the brand they love,” Eric Ratchman, EVP of content distribution at UCI, said in a statement. “That’s why we are excited to launch our expanded Univision NOW content on the Roku® platform, one of the simplest ways to stream entertainment.”
