With little explanation given, trading of Terayon Communication Systems Inc.
shares was halted on the NASDAQ exchange at midday Thursday.
The company has scheduled a press conference Friday morning to discuss news
that its cable-modem-termination system did not receive Data Over Cable Service
Interface Specification 1.1 qualification. The press conference will also review
the company's second-quarter results.
Terayon's stock was halted at 11:31 EST at $1.53 per share after dropping 6
cents on the day.
