Sony has introduced a set of mobile-facing features to PlayStation Vue, its OTT TV service, based in part on subscriber feedback.
Mobile Sign-Up: New customers can sign up for PS Vue directly from PSVue.com (on phones, tablets and PCs), even if they are outside the home.
In-Home Regional Sports Network Access: Subs can now access supported regional sports networks when they are travelling to another city.
Out-of-Home Local Broadcast Station Access: When travelling with a PS Vue-supported device, subscribers can watch the local broadcast channels that are available in the city that they're visiting.
PS Vue has not released subscriber numbers, but The Diffusion Group estimates that it had about 600,000 as of the end of 2017.
