Hulu has named Julie DeTraglia to the post of head of advertising sales research, where she will lead the OTT player’s development, design and implementation of ad sales research initiatives and advise Hulu’s national ad sales team.
DeTraglia, who reports to Hulu SVP of Ad Sales Peter Naylor, previously served as SVP, digital research at NBCUniversal, where she was responsible for digital analytics and total audience measurement strategy across the NBCU portfolio.
DeTraglia, who was with NBCU for more than 14 years, is a graduate from Dartmouth College and is based in New York.
Hulu announced in May that it was nearing 12 million subscribers while also setting a deal with BrightLine for interactive advertising.
Hulu, which is also looking to launch a new virtual MVPD service next year, introduced an $11.99 per month ad-free option last fall.
