FilmStruck, Turner’s SVOD service for film aficionados, is getting into the holiday spirit.
FilmStruck today launched a promo that offers a Roku Express player with the purchase of an annual $99 gift subscription to the streaming service. FilmStruck said the promotion runs through the end of the year while supplies last.
The Roku Express is an HDMI-connected device that retails for $29.99. FilmStruck launched its app for Roku in June.

FilmStruck was launched about a year ago, and has not announced a subscriber number. However, it has seen a “high subscriber retention rate” with the majority of customers subscribing to its premium tier.
The baseline FilmStruck service costs $6.99 per month, and the premium version with The Criterion Channel goes for $10.99 per month (or $99 per year).
