Verizon Communications Inc. received another franchise in Pennsylvania for its Verizon FiOS TV service, from the Delaware County township of Thornbury.
Thornbury, the first Delaware County jurisdiction to grant the regional Bell operating company a cable franchise, joins Valley Township in Chester County, Hulmeville Borough in Bucks County and Schwenksville Borough in Montgomery County on the company’s Pennsylvania list.
FiOS TV launched last September in Keller, Texas, and it is currently available in parts of California, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Texas and Virginia.
