EchoStar Marches Out VFW Service

EchoStar Communications Corp. has launched a new business-television service
for the Veterans of Foreign Wars in partnership with Flying Colors
Broadcasts.

The VFW, which counts about 2.7 million members, is using the Dish Network
platform to distribute training broadcasts nationwide.

Earlier this summer, the VFW broadcast the first such event when it aired a
live training symposium to 70 posts. The organization is planning to add a
minimum of 70 more posts to the network by next year.

'The VFW's business-television network is an example of how our enterprise
applications can be combined with Dish Network's residential service to provide
a powerful channel to communicate with members in dispersed locations,' said
Polly Dawkins, vice president of Dish Network Business Solutions, in a
release.
