Acterna LLC has a new man in the front office.
John Peeler was named CEO of the Germantown, Md.-based provider of cable and
telecommunications test and monitoring systems, replacing Ned Lautenbach.
Peeler, who has served as president of Acterna and president and CEO of the
company's communications-test business, will keep those positions along with his
new title.
As Acterna CEO, he will oversee the company's Itronix field-services-devices
subsidiary and da Vinci Systems, a unit that designs and markets video
color-correction systems for postproduction outfits.
Lautenbach, meanwhile, will stay with the company as chairman of the board of
directors.
