Xfinity Home’s New Message

Comcast still hasn’t updated sub figures for Xfinity Home, its home security and automation service, for awhile (the official number has been 500,000-plus since mid-2015), but the company is starting to open up the marketing spigot with a new series of spots for TV and online.
Comcast, which recently closed a deal to acquire an important piece of Icontrol, will debut its latest Xfinity Home spot on Monday, April 10.
That 30-second ad, “Chores,” focuses on home safety and the platform’s support for real-time access to home cameras and 24/7 monitoring, albeit with a comedic spin:
Comcast said the above spot is part of a series of six that were developed by the company and its marketing agency partner, Digitas.
