YES Sells Yanks Games to WCBS-TV

Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network has taken its first swing at
programming.

The fledgling sports service has reached terms with WCBS-TV in New York to
'carry a minimum of 20 New York Yankees games' during the 2002 season, according
to sources familiar with the deal.

The pact, expected to be announced this coming week, leaves 125 to 130
Yankees Major League Baseball contests for local cable.

The balance of the club's games will air nationally on the Fox broadcast
network or ESPN.

YES and WCBS-TV officials declined to comment.
