NEW YORK - Yack.com, the Internet program guide started by former Showtime Networks Inc. executive Jeff Morris, is shifting its business-to-consumer financial model to one in which the company will syndicate and license its online events guide to other Internet properties.
Yack's ad-sales, marketing and business development departments are being folded into into a new Yack Marketing & Sales division headed by general manager Victoria Quoss, who joined Yack from Microcast Inc. Quoss is a former TV executive with Fox, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. and Tribune Entertainment. Robert Klein was named vice president of sales for the division.
