XM to Add Playboy Premium Service

published XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. said Tuesday that it would add its first
premium audio channel, Playboy Radio, Sept. 3.
The national radio service plans to add other channels to its subscription
service Aug. 26, including folk music, old-time radio dramas and other formats,
the company said in a press release.
In a quarterly earnings report issued Tuesday, XM said it ended June 30 with
136,718 subscribers, a 79 percent growth over first-quarter-2002 subscriber
numbers.
