Andrew Wright, president of the Satellite Broadcasting &
Communications Association since 2001, announced his resignation Friday to
pursue a new opportunity that neither Wright nor the SBCA would disclose.
Wright, a former aide to Rep. Rich Boucher (D-Va.),
became president after a leadership shakeup that led to the resignation of
then-president Chuck Hewitt and his deputy, Andy Paul.
