World Fishing Network Tosses Freeview Line in April
April signifies the arrival of ideal weather conditions for angling enthusiasts, and World Fishing Network is making its fare available to more fishing fans indoors.
World Fishing Network is offering a free preview to all cable, satellite and telco subscribers in the U.S. and Canada throughout the month, with the freeview beginning today, April 1.
Coinciding with the free preview, WFN is debuting two new original series this month. JP DeRose Breaking Boundaries follows the host as he and a special guest pursue an unfamiliar species each week, while Bill Boyce’s Baja offers an insider’s look at the area's numerous fishing sites. Breaking Boundaries debuts Sunday, April 6 at 12 p.m. (ET), with Baja following immediately after at 12:30 p.m.
“We’re always working hard to produce original, compelling content that appeals to our broad and diverse audience," said WFN director of programming Ana Rodrigues in a statement. "These shows each offer something truly different and unique; anglers from every genre of the sport are sure to enjoy these programs that can only be found on World Fishing Network. Our audience will see parts of Baja they never knew existed, learn how to apply familiar techniques to catch a different species, experience a day in the life of a fishing guide and more. We’ve created shows for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts that simply cannot be experienced on other networks,
In addition to the two new series, network viewers can check out new seasons of Guided with Mark Melnyk and FORCE on FORCE, as well as a new edition of World Fishing Journal.
