Wiltse Tops AM Dial

Cable-technology vendor AM Communications Inc. promoted Kenneth "Chip" Wiltse
to president and CEO Tuesday morning.

Wiltse had been presiding over AM's broadband-services division. Current CEO
Javad Hassan will remain with AM as chairman.

Wiltse's cable background was a factor in the executive decision, Hassan
noted in a prepared statement.

Under Wiltse's leadership, AM's new management team "will address the issues
associated with the cost structure of the company and will pursue an overall
business model intended to stabilize the company and maximize its
opportunities," Hassan added.

AM makes software-driven network-reliability solutions for hybrid
fiber-coaxial broadband topologies. The company is based in Quakertown,
Pa.
