Jericho, N.Y.— WE: Women's Entertainment will mark National Blonde Day today (July 9) by helping Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. promote the theatrical film Legally Blonde, which opens Friday, July 13.
MGM owns a 20-percent stake in WE parent Rainbow Media Holdings Inc.
WE plans to feature an exclusive interview with Legally Blonde
star Reese Witherspoon, as well as behind-the-scenes footage from the new movie.
The women's network will also air back-to-back films starring famous blondes such as Marilyn Monroe, Goldie Hawn, Michelle Pfeiffer, Grace Kelly, Mia Farrow and Renée Zellweger.
