WAM! America's Kidz Network will turn its attention to teens who have
recently arrived in the United States with a reality special premiering
Thanksgiving evening.
The half-hour show, Destination: America, Land of Dreams, will take a
personal look at five teens who immigrated to this country.
The program will intersperse the teens' own words and videotape shot by the
subjects themselves with interviews and historical perspective about how they
are adjusting to their new home and their memories about the countries and
families they left behind.
Segments will chronicle the moves by teen immigrants from Bosnia, Romania,
Hong Kong and two sisters from Moscow.
WAM!, part of Starz Encore Group LLC, will premiere the show Nov. 28 at 7
p.m.
