Vyyo-Xtend Deal Done
Vyyo Inc. announced Thursday that it has completed its previously announced agreement to buy Xtend Networks Ltd.
The stock-and-cash deal, originally announced May 17, was valued at approximately $20.1 million.
Vyyo offers broadband end-to-end solutions used by telecommunications providers to deliver telephony and high-speed-data connections to business and residential subscribers.
Xtend's product line includes multiplexing devices, broadband amplifiers, splitters and consumer-premises devices that that extend the last-mile spectrum of cable systems. The company said operators can adjust spectrum from 860 megahertz to 3 gigahertz.
