Vulcan Inc. confirmed that National Geographic Ventures CEO Rick Allen will
take over as president and CEO of Vulcan Sports Media and The Sporting
News Jan. 1.
National Geographic said Monday that it had hired former Federal
Communications Commission chairman Dennis Patrick to succeed
Allen.
