The VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards special, due in primetime Oct. 23, has
been sold to about one-dozen sponsors.
VH1, which announced the sponsors Tuesday, said they include Arby's
Restaurants; BMW of North America LLC; DaimlerChrysler's Chrysler and Jeep
units; Ecco Domani Italian wine; Laboratoires Garnier's Garnier Nutrisse;
Heineken N.V.; Maybelline LLC; Neutrogena Corp.; Proctor & Gamble Co.'s
Pantene; J.C. Penney Co. Inc.; and Victoria's Secret.
The seventh annual event's performers so far are Alicia Keys -- who also sang
on MTV: Music Television's Video Music Awards last month -- Lenny Kravitz
and John Mellencamp.
