As part of its World AIDS Day programming Dec. 1, VH1 will present one-hour documentary AIDS: A Pop Culture History at 9 p.m.
The documentary, hosted by Ashley Judd, examines how pop culture influenced the way the public has experienced the AIDS epidemic over the past 20 years.
Featuring interviews by celebrities including Sharon Stone, Paul Michael Glaser, Russell Simmons and Clive Davis, AIDS: A Pop Culture History will explore the influence of pop culture on the American psyche, as well as the limits of its reach.
