VH-1 Ups Dalva to Senior VP

VH-1 said it promoted Eddie Dalva to senior vice president of programming,
co-productions and creative affairs for VH1 and CMT: Country Music
Television.

The network is still conducting a search for an executive to replace Jeff
Gaspin, the former executive vice president of programming, who was named vice
president of alternative series at NBC in March, a spokeswoman said.

Dalva has relocated to VH1's Santa Monica, Calif. office where he will pursue
alliances to finance and co-produce original series and made-for-TV movies, the
network said.

Dalva has brought several series to VH1, including American Bandstand,
Hard Rock Live and Ed Sullivan's Rock and Roll Classics.

Previously, Dalva was senior vice president of programming, acquisitions and
co-productions.
