USA Sets Giuliani Pic

USA Network Monday announced the development of an original movie centering
on the life of former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

The film -- based on the book Rudy!An Investigative Biography of
Rudolph Giuliani, whichwas optioned by production company Carlton
America -- will depict Giuliani's years as mayor of the Big Apple, including his
heroic efforts during and after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, according to USA
spokesman Ron Sato.

The network hopes to air the original film by the end of 2002, he added.

Home Box Office is currently developing a documentary featuring Giuliani and
the events of Sept. 11 set to air Memorial Day, May 26.
