SES Americom Inc. is launching two new satellites in 2004 -- AMC-10 and
AMC-11 -- designed for cable programmers.
The company said the birds will use its "DigitalC" technology, allowing both
large and small cable programmers cost-effective bandwidth-transmission
solutions.
The two birds will be at 135 and 131 degrees west longitude.
The satellites feature higher wattage than SES Americom's current Satcom C-3
and C-4 fleet.
